Milk Products Name List, Dairy or milk products are foods made from milk (or containing milk). The most common dairy animals are cows, water buffalo, goats, sheep and camels. Dairy products include common Western grocery store foods such as yogurt, cheese, and butter.

A dairy is a business that produces milk products, and dairy products are consumed in varying amounts worldwide (see Global Consumption Patterns). Some people avoid dairy products due to lactose intolerance, vegetarianism, or other health reasons or beliefs.

The milk is produced after optional homogenization or pasteurization, to varying degrees, after standardization of the fat content and the possible addition of Streptococcus lactis and Leuconostoc citrovorum bacteria. Milk can be divided into several categories based on the type of product made, including cream, butter, cheese, infant formula and yogurt.

Milk varies in fat content. Skim milk is fat-free milk, while whole milk products contain fat.

Consumption of dairy products varies significantly around the world. High-consumption countries consume more than 150 kilograms (330 pounds) per capita per year. Moderate consumption countries consume between 30 and 150 kilograms per person per year.

These countries are India, Iran, Japan, Kenya, Mexico, Mongolia, New Zealand, North and South Africa, most of the Middle East, and most Latin America and the Caribbean.

Low-consumption countries consume less than 30 kg per person per year. These countries are Senegal, most of Central Africa, and East and Southeast Asia.

Dairy products can irritate the digestive system in lactose-intolerant people or have a milk allergy. People with lactose intolerance generally avoid milk and other lactose-containing dairy products, which can cause mild side effects such as abdominal pain, gas diarrhea, gas, and nausea. These people can use non-dairy milk substitutes.

Dairy consumption does not produce mucus and does not aggravate the symptoms of a cold or asthma. A 2019 review found no substantial evidence linking milk consumption to cancer risk.

Some groups avoid dairy products for reasons unrelated to health. Some religions do not prohibit or allow the consumption of dairy products. For example, some Jain scholars advocate not consuming dairy products, as dairy products are believed to be involved in anti-cow violence.

Orthodox Judaism requires that meat and dairy products not be served at the same meal, served or cooked in the same utensils, or stored together, as stated in Deuteronomy 14:21.

Vegetarianism is the avoidance of all animal products, including dairy, often due to the ethics of how dairy is made. Ethical reasons to avoid meat and dairy include dairy production, animal handling and the environmental impact of dairy production.

According to a 2010 report by the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization, the dairy sector is responsible for 4 per cent of global manufactured greenhouse gas emissions. Share your Valuable Comments Below about Milk Products Name List
